Harrah’s Entertainment Inc., purveyors of the World Series of Poker tournament and partner to European poker room Everest Poker, today revealed the official schedule for the 2008-09 World Series of Poker Circuit Schedule.
The ‘08-’09 WSOP Circuit series includes stops at ten Harrah’s properties. New this year is a WSOP-C stop in Chicago at Horseshoe Hammond, October 24 through November 2nd, 2008. This stop marks the first time the WSOP Circuit has made a stop in Shy Town.
According to Jeffrey Pollack, World Series of Poker Commissioner, “Playing World Series of Poker Circuit events is the best way to hone your live tournament poker skills in a friendly and competitive environment.” The complete schedule is as follows:
- October 2-14, 2008: Caesars Indiana (Elizabeth, IN)
- October 24-November 2, 2008: Horseshoe Hammond (Hammond, IN)
- November 6-16, 2008: Harveys Lake Tahoe (Lake Tahoe, NV)
- December 5-18, 2008: Harrah’s Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ)
- January 20-February 9, 2009: Harrah’s Tunica (Tunica, MS)
- February 12-25, 2009: Horseshoe Council Bluffs (Council Bluffs, IA)
- March 4-14, 2009: Caesars Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ)
- March 19-29, 2009: Harrah’s Rincon (San Diego, CA)
- April 12-29, 2009: Caesars Palace (Las Vegas, NV)
- May 8-20, 2009: Harrah’s New Orleans (New Orleans, LA)
The WSOP Main Event is currently underway at the Rio in Las Vegas.
